TRENTON, N.J. – In a world fraught with inflation and profligate government spending, with 9 million souls’ futures teetering on the fiscal cliff, three Republican legislators unite to deliver a message of warning, and hope, before Gov. Phil Murphy’s budget address Feb. 27.

These leaders—John DiMaio, Christopher DePhillips and Nancy Munoz—bring their searing admonishment against Murphy and Trenton Democrats in “The Price of Excess: The Democrats’ Spending Addiction,” in wide release Friday.

The story begins six years ago, when a wealthy businessman (played by Murphy in his first starring role) ascends to the highest office in the state and gets a taste of government power and money – taxpayer money.  Backed by majority party loyalists who makes promises they never intend to keep, their collective hunger for pork and prestige will prove catastrophic for New Jersey’s future, an end everyone saw coming, but they ignored.

“We’re closer to the edge than Democrats want to admit,” DiMaio (R-Warren) said. “The outlook is bleak if they don’t change course, and now.”
