“Unsolved Mysteries” parody seeks to reveal sponsors of state spending resolutions

TRENTON, N.J. – Shrouded in secrecy for almost seven weeks, Assembly Republicans attempt to finally reveal the undisclosed sponsors of costly budget resolutions by parodying the popular TV series “Unsolved Mysteries.” In the spoof, a Robert Stack-like voice asks, “What is the Pompidou and why should it cost taxpayers $58 million?” and, “Who the hell sponsored the Democrat spending resolutions?” Get ready for a journey into the unknown. Perhaps you may be able to help solve a mystery.
