Barranco on drone attack killing three U.S. soldiers in Jordan, failed Biden policies

Assemblyman Christian Barranco

TRENTON, N.J. – Assemblyman Christian Barranco says failed federal policies are endangering Americans, including soldiers stationed overseas and everyday citizens suffering from the immigration crisis along the US-Mexico border.

“It is time for our country to stand up and be the world leader it has always been in the past. The world is watching as U.S. service members are the casualties of President Biden’s failed foreign policies. We must get tougher and that includes securing our southern border,” Barranco (R-Morris) said.

Barranco, the son of Cuban immigrants, is urging Gov. Phil Murphy to join his colleagues across the nation to support Texas in shutting down the border. Twenty-five governors signed onto a letter backing Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in his border control fight with the federal government.

“This is not about party politics, it’s now about the sovereignty of our nation and the safety of the future of our citizens,” Barranco said. “No one can enter a U.S. airport without passports and being questioned by U.S. Customs about where we’ve been. But anyone, including those who despise what we stand for, can fly to Mexico and walk across the border to do as they please in our nation.”
