TRENTON, N.J. – During her clinical training at New York University in the 1970s, Assembly Republican Conference Leader Nancy Munoz was told to walk with a sense of purpose – a motto she applied to her 35-year nursing career and the New Jersey General Assembly since 2009.
After her husband, trauma surgeon and Assemblyman Eric Munoz, suddenly passed in March 2009, the Summit resident was elected to fill his seat. Munoz, a mother of five grown children, has dedicated her life to making a positive impact on people’s lives through health care delivery, community service and policy.
Munoz is featured in the Assembly Republican Office’s seventh mini-biography released today.
