EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Assembly Republican Conference Leader Nancy Munoz will be honored with the champion of business and economic growth legislative award at the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey’s annual luncheon at the Hilton Meadowlands on Friday.
The organization recognizes lawmakers who promote the interests of New Jersey’s business community and sponsor legislation that fosters economic growth statewide.
“In order to encourage free enterprise and economic opportunity in New Jersey, we must maintain strong partnerships between public and private enterprises and enact smart policies that work for the business community and entrepreneurs. I am thankful for the support from our strong business leaders and advocates and I am honored to be recognized for championing legislative solutions that make the state a better place to live, work and grow,” Munoz (R-Union) said.
In this legislative session alone, Munoz has sponsored at least a dozen bills to create jobs, keep employers in the state, and support businesses in their recovery from Covid-19. She believes in reducing capital costs for businesses through tax credits, making New Jersey a leader in business innovation, and stopping burdensome tax increases on employers.
The Commerce and Industry Association is a network of businesses committed to improving and advancing the cause of free enterprise in the Garden State.
