TRENTON, N.J. – Assemblyman Ron Dancer was awarded the Outstanding New Jersey Legislator Award by the Food Council for Good Government for his legislative achievements and his involvement with the New Jersey Food Council.
“I was delighted to be the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding New Jersey Legislator Award from such a worthwhile organization,” said Dancer (R-Ocean). “The New Jersey food industry is an important part of our economy and to be recognized by such a hard-working group is truly an honor.”
Dancer will also receive the State Leadership in Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment Award from the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies. He was honored for his leadership and support on issues affecting those with mental health and substance abuse disorders during their Fall Behavioral Healthcare Conference.
“I was thrilled to receive this award for my legislative work by the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies,” said Dancer. “Mental health and substance abuse use disorders are two things I take into consideration when deciding on what health care bills to sponsor.
