WESTFIELD, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick wants the Port Authority of NY and NJ to investigate prices that vendors charge at Newark airport for basic items, including four dollars for bottled water.
“Vendors have self-service and self-checkout yet continue to have astronomical prices on necessary items,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “Travelers are a captive audience and there is no competition for consumers. A bottle of water should not cost four bucks. The public deserves answers.”
