Bramnick proposes sales tax holiday for replacement of Ida damaged cars

Jon Bramnick

TRENTON, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick is proposing a sales tax exemption for people replacing a vehicle totaled by the catastrophic flood damage caused by Hurricane Ida.

“Many people lost their means of transportation due to flooding from Hurricane Ida,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “Replacing their car is already expensive, the least the state could do is waive the sales tax for the replacement of their vehicle.”
