Bramnick opposes Trenton dictating where and when police patrol

TRENTON, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick opposes a proposed law (S2923) that limits police from patrolling polling places.

“I reject a law from Trenton that keeps police from protecting voting locations,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “This is a bad idea from politicians in Trenton that would instruct local officials where and how to patrol a community. In light of the polarized state of our nation, I support law enforcement keeping a close eye on polling locations.”
