Bramnick: Murphy’s policies are shorting state’s revenue

Jon Bramnick

TRENTON, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick blamed Murphy’s tax and spending policies for disappointing December income-tax collections, which is the state’s largest source of revenue.

“Income tax revenue received during December is lower than the year before,” said Bramnick (R-Union).  “Murphy’s policies are troubling and have been sending the wrong message to job creators.  Lowering the tax burden is essential and a reduction in the state income tax should be a priority.  A full deduction of property taxes against state income is also needed, but both bills wait in committee to be posted and passed.”
