TRENTON, N.J. – Following a news report that Gov. Phil Murphy declined to meet with restaurant owners, Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick called on Murphy to meet with them about their plans to reopen safely.

“Restaurant owners worked years to build their business and deserve respect from Governor Murphy,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “This should never happen in an open society. Business owners should not be ignored.”

Bramnick’s bill (A4413) to reimburse restaurants impacted by the delay to the return of indoor dining will be heard by the Assembly Appropriations Committee Monday.
