Bramnick calls for legislative hearings on retaliation against doctors

Jon Bramnick

TRENTON, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick called for legislative hearings Monday on whether health insurance companies retaliate against doctors who challenge their reimbursement policies.

“There have been some allegations that if a doctor questions reimbursement from an insurance company or speaks out against health insurance company policies, there can be retribution,” said Bramnick (R-Union).  “The alleged retribution involves removing the doctor from the network or auditing the doctor’s records.  We must make sure doctors can speak out to protect their patients right to care.”
