TRENTON, N.J. –The state Senate voted unanimously in favor of legislation sponsored by Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick that improves the health of pregnant women and babies by expanding Medicaid coverage for group prenatal care services.

“Women need our support to ensure the best outcomes for both mom and baby,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “Women who used group prenatal care are proven to have healthier babies and lower their risk for complications, including death.”
